Jarek Kowcza

Jarek joined Westpac as a Senior Economist in 2021. He works across several businesses, including Westpac Business Bank, St.George Bank, Bank of Melbourne, BankSA, and BT. Jarek covers a range of topics and provides insights on the economy, including analysis and reporting of economic conditions and the outlook. Prior to this, Jarek worked for the Treasury in Canberra for over eight years, where he specialised in tax and macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, and banking and financial system policy. Jarek holds a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Finance double degree from the University of Adelaide.
